A Successful Surgery

We have good news. Baby James had a smooth sailing surgery. The Doc said that there were no complications. Kristal and I have been by his bedside for the past two hours. He is in quite a lot of discomfort (as you could imagine). Please pray that he would get some relief from the pain. Our little guy, a few days ago, was not ablt to cry. Well, he has been crying for the past 2 hours straight. They gave him the maximum amount of pain killer that they could. I will update in more detail later. Thanks for praying! Praise God for the successful surgery. He is a good Heavenly Father. Please also pray that everything would heal well. If everything heals well the Doc's say that we should be out of the hospital by atleast Monday.

Jimmy,

Praise God for His goodness! I have been praying so much for all of you. We printed off a picture of James and put it on our fridge so that we will be constantly reminded to pray for him. He is so cute. I can see both you and Kristal in him. (I think he has your nose.)

I am hoping and praying that you will be able to leave soon. I'm sure you are very ready to be home.

Thanks so much for keeping us all updated, and especially for your witness on this blog. It has been very encouraging to me. Keep going!

He cried? An answer to prayer for you to hear his first cry...now comfort and continued progress. We'll all be praying...I keep about 100+ people up to date on James and your family's need. We love you.

Hey Jimmy and Kristal,
I'm continuing to pray for baby James. He is soooo cute! Here are the words of a song that are a reminder of the faithfulness of our Savior and his desire to be near in difficult times. Your friend from King of Grace

Be Still and Know

Verse 1
When mountains fall and waters rise
Come hide yourself in Me
The One whose voice commands the waves
Still knows your every need
Come now and wait on Me
Draw near and rest in Me

Chorus
Be still and know that I am God
Be still and know that I am God

Verse 2
When darkness fails and sorrows rise
Remember who I am
The One who dwells in eternity
Still comforts His own child
Come now and look to Me
Draw near and hope in Me

Hi Loves Ones...

All of us continue to pray for baby James and his complete healing. CBS ladies have also been so faithful in prayer and they want to extend to you all their love. We can hardly wait to see your faces up close and not just in pictures (although, Jimmy, your have some astounding pictures of yourself!). We serve an amazing God--He never seeks our approval for anything--but gives us grace upon grace to run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus the author and perfector of our faith. Thank you for the example that you both provide, not only for we who love you, but also for those being exposed to the Gospel for the first time. What a privilege and honor to serve our Mighty God!

Love, Aunt Linda

Hi my precious Kristal and Jimmy and baby James. Just want to reassure you that I will continue praying for you all. I will be out of the country for a month so there will be silence from me for a while but you will be in my thoughts and my prayers. By the time I get back you will be old pro's at taking care of baby James and grandpa will have him in his wagon behind his tractor. I have been so blessed by the two of you and your strength and trust in the one who created that precious little boy. I am taking a picture of him with me so he will continually be in my thoughts and prayers.I will call the family often for an update. I love you guys and am very very proud of you. Aunt Dot
