How BEAUTIFUL is he!!! I'm continuing to pray for ALL of you. I printed out a picture of James that you had posted and hung it on my fridge. That way I'll be praying OFTEN :) I even wrote his name on it with those little kiddie magnets. May the peace that passes understanding guard your gearts and minds through Jesus Christ our Lord!!! Your Friend

Thanks for all of the pictures! I can't imagine what a relief it must be to James to be away from all of the doctors and nurses and busyness of the hospital.

We are praying that the peace that surpasses all understanding would guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. As fears and anxieties surface, may the faithfulness of God be your firm standing place. Just as He was faithful to provide us with the promised Savior, though we didn't deserve Him, He will be faithful to you. Today, as I was considering all that James has been through in his life thus far, I was struck by God's faithfulness and provision. God has done a mighty work in your son's life. May the healing of his body continue and may the Lord use even this trial to show your son what a great Savior we have!

Praying for you, Josh & Katie

Dearest Jimmy and Kristal,
What a gorgeous great-grandson I have and how adorable. I am so proud of both of you for your strength and patience and for the wonderful outlook you have. I wish so much that I were near you so I could help, in any way, and I will if you need me. My prayers and those of my friends are constant and earnest. I can't believe anyone has had more prayers than that dear baby. I love him so much and I haven't even seen him. I hope you both get some long needed peace and rest soon so that you can face what ever situations come up. I am so sure that he will continue to get better each day.
I love you all three

Hey Jimmy. Its Paul Hovey!! Katie passed along your blog addy to me, so I came and gave it a brief look over. Good to even see a pic of you again! Its been far too long. I enjoy the title of your blog, though, in all honesty I have to say that Christ is King... but I'm sure we all have our little idols :-) I can't wait to read some of your theology posts. I'll be interested to read on what you've been learning.
Congrats on the marriage and the chunker. What a fun little guy!! My wife and I will be praying for your family. Without knowing all the details it sounds pretty intense. Anyhow, I'll check in a little later and maybe shoot you an email. My addy is paulcharleshovey@yahoo.com Blessings to you and your family, my friend. May his peace reign even in the most uncertain of times.
