Big Hug Mug

Here are my two favorite coffee cups. The first is called the "Big Hug Mug." I am forever indebted to the Wingerd's for their kindness in giving this precious piece of porcelain to such an unworthy person as I. It is usually filled with coffee, but as you can see, it was full of hot chocolate when I took the pictures

This is my newest and funnest mug. Kristal got it for me as an early Christmas present (she cannot buy early presents--she gets too excited and gives them to me about 5 seconds after buying them). Moose are my favorite animals and so this mug has a special place in my heart. Also, the pottery is outstanding?

This is another picture of the Moose mug. I wanted to give you a full orbed perspective. Isn't she a bute?!! This mug has the ability to hold lots of yummy Dunkin donuts coffee. I think I am going to name my moose mug Earl. I just think that is a good Moose names. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

I just wanted to let you all know that Kristal is singing "O Stinky Bomb" to James right now. His feet smell awful--Even after we give him a bath--they are rancid. We call them his "stinky Pota-Toes" Anyway, "O Stinky Bomb" is sung to the tune of "O Christmas Tree." I love my wife--I love her goofiness.

Oh Stinky Bomb is about as holy as O Christmas tree. Now, come on..who sings to a tree like you want to make out with it?
I definitely like Krystal's version better.

oh - and when I first looked at your moose, the first name that came to my mind was "Dort." Don't ask me, because the Council at Dort was not at all mooseish.

Kristal, that has to be the coolest mug I've ever seen. Period. What a great gift!

Hey Jimmy how do you know that it is a boy moose? How about Lucy Moosey? I think you have prematurely named this moose without investigating his true identity.

Kelly,
Thank you for the probing question. The reason I know that it is a male moose is because it can hold so much coffee. Female Moose do not have such an ability. However, if it were a female I would be all over "Lucy Moosey."
Now that you have been shown that the moose is a male, go back in and change your answer, or i'll never bring fill the wood box again (just kidding).

Jimmy,
Firstly, I believe that "Earl" would prefer a subarctic climate this time of year, and would never willingly indulge in a steaming cup of jo. Secondly, the bull moose drops its antlers after mating season in November in order to conserve energy for the long, harsh winters in New Hampshire. I am sorry Jimmy, your "Earl" is definately a cow (female) moose. Please don't stop filling my wood box and please give the lovely lady a proper name.

Kelly,
I am sure that you have forgotten more about Moose than I will ever know--you have forgotten more about nature in general than I will ever know--but if my memory serves me correctly, Mr. Earl Moose was purchased at Newicks well before antler shedding season. They molded him on the potters wheel with antlers before his antlers fell off--he's a male.
Don't worry, I will continue my wood box duties.

ok, first of all, its really weird that i live in the same house as the lady who follows the life cycle of the moose. Second, it is spelled joE. Third, you two need to learn how to knit or something like that. And fourth, the pizza in the oven is burning.

Kristal,
I concur with everything you said, except for the knitting thing. My fingers are too fat--you should know this.

Kelly I think your right. I think my son needs to submit to your authority and I think he needs to fill TWO wood boxes for his complete disregard for you intelligence. And while he's at it HE should be taking out the pizza. If he has fat fingers like his dad he won't even need pot holders - so there is his gauge - if he needs pot holders he needs to take up knitting THE END. I like Lucey no .... I LOVE Lucey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kelly I will ALWAYS have your back!!

P.S. I just looked at the moose again and if I'm not mistaken those are NOT antlers - they are eyelashes. Kelly again . . . your right!

Lynn,
You are wise beyond your years! You are correct as always. Earl is indeed a cow moose..... I am glad someone sees it as clearly as I do. Our poor sweet Jimmy is in denial. I will secrectly call her Lucy so she doesn't develop an identity crisis. Lucy and I spend a lot of time together taking her in and out of the dishwasher.
Thank you for being the voice of reason. I don't know what I would do without you!
