Well, it is official, I am now the full-time preaching pastor at Sovereign Grace Fellowship in Boscawen, New Hampshire. I am excited about this new task that the Lord has laid on my shoulders. Please be praying for me as I seek to be faithful to God and his word. I thank the Lord that I am not the only elder at the church. The Lord has blessed me by placing 3 older, more experienced, more godly men to partner with me in the ministry here in Boscawen. Click here to check out the church's website.

WOW Jimmy! That is absolutely wonderful! We will pray for you as we are praying for our new full-time preaching elder who is fresh out of seminary. May God grant you the qualities of Timothy!
Praise the Lord brother. May God bless you and the brothers and sisters up there in greater ways than you've ever known.
I especially like the fact that you have been appointed as an elder in a church of which you've been a part for quite some time. I hope that becomes a trend for many aspiring elders. It just seems really good and biblical.
Jessy,
Thank you. I am a dependent sinner in need of the Spirit of God. Thanks for your prayers.
John,
I agree with you completely regarding pastors growing up from within the church. I feel absolutely fortunate that I have been part of Sovereign Grace Fellowship for almost 2 years now. This is best for both the pastor and the folks in the pew.
Jimmy
I'm pleased to read the agreement shared with regards to elders grown within the local church. According to God's design the local church is the fertile soil for the birthing and training of its future Spirit filled leadership.
Greetings Jimmy:
I'm a little late to the party, but I was just checking out your blog and saw this post. Congratulations, brother. May Christ be magnified in your ministry.
Warmly in Our Savior,
Steve Burchett
