A dear brother in our church, Walter Marshall, has been in the hospital with meningitis for over a day now. It seems that his condition is getting worse. At this point he is not able to swallow. This, obviously, is serious. They will be doing an MRI soon. Anyway, please take a moment to pray for Walter. Also, pray for strength and rest for Toni, Walter's wife, during this trial. Thank you for your prayers. I will update as soon as I hear more.

jimmy - for some reason I do not have your address but could you pray for my pastor's wife, too? She is in surgery right now to remove a huge tumor from her brain and upper part of spine. Thank you, friend. Her name is Cindy. Her extended family is not saved. She is about 50 years old.

her surgery has been post-poned. more to come. you both know what's this is like, don't you?

Ok - she was taken into surgery sometime around 3pm. It will last 6-7 hours.
They said they will keep us updated throughout.
As told to her daughter: She is no less safe in surgery than she is waiting for her daughter to come home from school.
God holds our very lives in His very capable hand.
she is still in surgery for a couple more hours...after 5 hours, they had just gotten to the tumor itself...wow.
she's out and everything went amazingly well! If she survived the surgery, it was predicted that she would have to stay in the hospital for weeks even months. But now the doctors are saying 6-8 days!!!!
GOD IS TOO WONDERFUL FOR WORDS.
