Pickles Won!

Maybe I am a geek, but I thought the pickles/relish poll was quite fun. I figured that pickles would win, but not by such a landslide. I wonder how much money I could make if I sold these findings to George Barna and his geeky statisticians. I would like to start a new poll, but i need to think of something cool and exhilirating first. Anyways, I guess this makes me an official geek--can't win em all.

Jimmy,

I appreciate your interest in our hot beverage preferences, but was quite disappointed to see the slim selection you gave. I marked the espresso button, but not because I prefer espresso. I prefer mocha, which involves espresso and steamed milk. Maybe your post should include qualifications to the various categories.

If you consider yourself a geek for giving this questionaire, then I must be geekier for giving constructive criticism about it.

Thanks for you constructive criticism. Let me tell you, it was constructive. After reading your I had something of an emotional breakdown.
I would add mocha under the espresso/cappuccino tag as you suggested. I thought about adding some more of these specific types of drinks, but thought the list would be too long. Forgive me for my simplicity.
I think anyone who is in any way associated with this poll probably falls under the geek category, so don't beat yourself up.

Well if the two of you are geeks, and I'M reading the same stuff - then I guess one could say I was the "spawner" of such nonsense!! Guess what I voted for boys????? I'm going to close this out and come back and vote again - of course not for the same thing, but to preserve my legend so to speak, not legal I know, but besides being geeky I'm a rebel at heart. So . . . guess which comes in 2nd for the madre?????

Yeah, Jimmy, I'm sort of going for Jessy's description. "Dorky" pretty much says it all. But we didn't need any recent survey to clue us in....and your rebel mom just started it all, she gets no claim to fame. And, yes, Clint, you are in on this category of Snowdeness, also.

So - I believe this to be rigged. I saw there were 10 counted votes. They included 3 for coffee, 2 for tea, 2 for expresso, and 5 for hot chocolate and NONE for steamed diet coke. Well here is the dilemma. When I total that up it comes to 12. The problem, i find, is not only in the miscount - BUT I just cast a vote for the steamed diet coke and it is registering 11 votes yet including the new vote cast that adds up to 13 actual - but there is no vote showing for the fluid running through my veins. I am really thinking about demanding a recount. Something is terribly terribly wrong.

Are you sure it's legal fluid that is running through your veins, Lynnard? ;-)jk

Jimmy, ever thought of having a guest-poster on your blog? I would love to hear from Kristal sometime about what God's been teaching her as a mom since little J has come along. I'm guessing many more of the lady readers of your infamous blog would also love to read a post or more from Kristal. I also don't doubt that she's extremely busy keeping up with the baby so it might not be possible. Just wanted to throw the idea out, though!
